Safe equipment distribution demands planned vehicle access, firm ground unloading zones, and structured visual inspection before signature.

1. REGIONAL DELIVERY PLANNING

Site deliveries operate via dedicated flatbed and box vehicles fitted with hydraulic tail-lifts rated to 1,000 kg. Delivery scheduling requires confirmed jobsite coordinates, mobile telephone contact for the site receiver, and confirmation of vehicular weight restrictions on access roads.

  • Access Width: Delivery trucks require a minimum access roadway width of 3.2 meters and an overhead clearance of 3.8 meters clear of low tree limbs or scaffold projections.
  • Drop Zone Surface: Unloading pallet trucks carrying 250 kg compactors or floor grinders requires asphalt, solid concrete, or steel road plates. Hydraulic tail lifts cannot deploy onto loose topsoil, gravel, or uncompacted sub-base.

2. DEPOT YARD COLLECTION PROTOCOL

Contractors collecting tools directly from our regional depot yard bypass distribution fees. To ensure rapid turnaround, follow the drive-through lane sequence:

  1. Check in at the Logistics Counter with your booking reference number and photo ID.
  2. Drive to designated Bay (A1 to C4) marked on your staging slip.
  3. Yard crew assists in mechanical forklift loading of palletized units into compliant commercial vans or flatbed trailers.
  4. Check and sign the physical manifest before gate departure.

TRANSPORT VEHICLE LOAD SECURITY:

Private passenger cars without separate cargo bulkheads are prohibited from collecting petrol-powered machinery, gas bottles, or equipment over 40 kg. All equipment must be restrained with minimum 500 daN ratchet tie-down straps.

3. SIGNED HANDOVER CHECKS & EQUIPMENT PROTECTION

Handover protects both contractor and depot. The receiver must verify the following items against the digital delivery tablet:

  • Visual Condition: Confirmation that casing, power lead insulation, and protective shrouds are crack-free.
  • Accessory Box: Verification of specified chuck keys, auxiliary handles, water hoses, and spare carbon brushes.
  • Hour & Fuel Level: Documented for engine-driven machinery (generators, plate compactors). Returned units must match outbound fuel status to avoid refueling fees.

4. RETURN COORDINATION & OFF-HIRE PROCEDURES

Rental billing ceases only when an official off-hire number is generated. Simply leaving equipment in a site corner does not terminate the hire agreement.

When ready for collection, request off-hire via the customer portal or email before 15:00 for next-business-day collection. The contractor remains responsible for safe storage and security until the collection driver completes the physical pickup.
