1. HEAVY ROTARY HAMMERS & SDS-MAX DRILLING
Rotary hammers provide electro-pneumatic impact mechanisms capable of driving masonry drill bits from 16 mm to 52 mm diameter through dense structural concrete. Unlike standard percussion drills, SDS-Max chuck systems isolate the motor from twisting torque and provide consistent strike power regardless of feed pressure.
- Combi-Hammers (6 kg class): Dual-mode (drilling with hammer / chisel rotation stop). Ideal for anchor bolt installation, pipe penetrations up to 40 mm, and light chase work.
- Heavy Hammers (11 kg class): Dedicated drilling and demolition mode. Up to 19 Joules strike energy for through-wall flues, core bits up to 150 mm in brick, and rebar dowelling.
2. DIAMOND CORING & SLAB SAWING
For round penetrations in reinforced concrete without micro-fracturing surrounding structural beams, diamond coring is required. Handheld core drills handle up to 82 mm dry coring in masonry with integrated vacuum swivels. For reinforced concrete over 100 mm and up to 350 mm, column rigs must be securely mechanical-anchored or vacuum-pump locked to the slab.
Diamond wall chasers and concrete saws require continuous pressurized water feed to cool segmented diamond matrices and capture respirable dust at the blade interface.
3. DEMOLITION BREAKERS (15 KG TO 32 KG)
Pneumatic and electric breaker units deliver high single-blow impact for breaking slab floors, strip footings, and asphalt.
VIBRATION AND DUTY CONTROL:
Modern depot units feature decoupled side handles with anti-vibration damping (AVR) keeping operator exposure below 6.5 m/s², extending legal operational trigger time per shift.
4. GROUND PREPARATION & SOIL COMPACTION
Rental fleets feature forward-operating vibrating plates (60 kg to 100 kg) for sand bedding, asphalt patching, and paving block consolidation. For deep sub-base trenching and cohesive clay, reversible heavy plate compactors (160 kg to 350 kg) or upright vibrating tampers (rammers) deliver high-amplitude impact essential for solid compaction before pouring concrete footings.
5. SURFACE PREPARATION & FORCED-ACTION MIXING
Concrete floor grinders equipped with diamond shoe segments strip epoxy coatings, level high spots, and prepare concrete for screed overlays. Forced-action paddle mixers (pan mixers) turn heavy sand/cement repair mortars, resin screeds, and refractory mixes that stall standard free-fall tilting drum mixers.
